In today´s fast paced global economy, the demand for detailed and timely labor market data is increasing. State and local officials, in particular, need good local level data in order to make informed decisions. The LEHD/State partnership works to fill this critical need. The LEHD program uses collaborations between state and federal agencies to bring together data sets in powerful relational databases. The end result is a unique set of quarterly economic indicators, such as turnover rates, new hires and job creation for local areas.
