The LEHD program uses collaborations between state and federal agencies to bring together data sets in powerful relational databases. Local Employment Dynamics utilizes Quarterly Workforce Indicators to demonstrate total employment, net job flows, job creation, new hire activity, seperations, turnover, average monthly earnings, and average new hire earnings. Best of all, this information can be sorted or filtered by business sector/type, age group, and specific geographies from the region, the Joplin Metro area, or even any of the region’s seven counties.
