
The Missouri Career Center provides resources to employers and connects them employees to fund up to 75% of on-the-job training for a specified period. This training incentive helps new hires be more successful for the employer and reduces turnover and recruitment costs for the business.The process is fairly simple. If you’re interested in the OJT program, contact any of the Business Services staff.
They’ll check for company eligibility, review your hiring needs, analyze the occupational tasks of the position to determine the length and scope of training, and match potential job candidates for the OJT. Staff assist in the development of the OJT contract with the employer and the required paperwork so that OJT is literally a turn-key program.
